Bounded and explicit
Archives are checked before anything is extracted: at most 500 entries, 16 MB per file and 64 MB in total; absolute paths, “..” segments and duplicate names are rejected. Entries that expand beyond their declared size are stopped.
Every input produces a row: formatted, unchanged, failed or rejected. Nothing is skipped silently. The output ZIP contains only files that formatted successfully, with their original paths and encodings; failed files can be downloaded unchanged.
Questions
Which recipe is used?
Any built-in or saved recipe from the Presets page. The recipe name and formatter version are shown with the results.
What about files with an encoding conflict?
A file whose byte-order mark and declaration disagree needs a decision, so batch mode marks it as failed and asks you to open it in the formatter.
