Your XML never leaves your device

Everything you paste, type or open is processed by code running in your browser. There is no upload, no conversion API and no server that receives your content. The site is static files served from a CDN.

What is stored, and where

• Drafts of the home-page workspace (text, options and a short undo history) are saved in this browser’s IndexedDB so you can continue later. Turn on private mode under “More options” to stop saving and delete the stored draft.
• Recipes you import are stored in IndexedDB. Your theme choice is stored in localStorage.
• An optional service worker caches the site’s own static files for offline use. It never stores your documents.

Local storage is not a backup and not encryption; anyone with access to this browser profile can read it. Clearing site data removes it.

Network requests

After the page loads, the tools make no network requests with your content. External DTDs, entities and schemas referenced by your XML are never fetched. Fonts are self-hosted.

Advertising

The site may in future show ads in reserved spaces outside the workspace. Ads are off in this build. If enabled, the ad provider may set cookies under its own policy; ad scripts never receive your XML.
